I swear some people have all the luck & others (like me) don't! Here is why...
My family is going on a snowmobile trip in February & our sleds weren't running quite as good as Ryland wanted them to, so he took them down to Triple S Polaris (our favorite). Fine and dandy right... Well they started tearing into them and decided the crank & the crank case are junk in my sled ($2000). Then they determined that Ryland's sled lost a piston so that is going to require a new dome, 2 new pistons, a new case, a honed out jug & misc items. ($2500). On top of all that we still have to pay labor for labor- 75/hr. The total quote they gave us was $5800!!!! I about had a heart attack! LUCKY for us Ryland can do most of the work, but we still have to pay $300 for the work done so far. Hopefully we will be able to get them running and have a great trip.

Christmas 2008
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We spent the morning at our house then later in the day we went to my mom & dad's for dinner. Ryland's parents were sick so we opted not to go to their house, but went the next day.
Ryker was so excited about his toys from Santa for approximately 10 seconds, which is when he realized there was books too! HE LOVES BOOKS!! He read them all morning. We finally oped his gifts from us for him, lame huh. I guess I can't complain about him liking books, he needs to be smart!
Once we got to mom & dads Ryker was even more spoiled! They got him one of those horses on springs. I don't really know how to explain it but he thinks it is just so awesome! When you pinch the ears it talks and sings.. pretty cute! Lacey gave him a bubble mower which he thinks is totally awesome! But I think Cody wanted to play with it more than Ryker.
Later than night we started our 12 mile trek in the DEEP snow! Where are the snow plows when it snows?? Seriously, it took us 35-40 mins in 4-wheel drive to get 12 miles!! I was so glad we made it home safe & sound!
