TGIF!!!

Today is my last day of work for 2 weeks!!! I can't tell you how excited I am! It will be so nice to be able to stay home with Ryker. I am sure the time is going to fly by... but I am going to enjoy every minute of it! I might even get some scrapbooking done :0)

The Zoo...

We took Ryker to the zoo on the 13th of April. It was pretty darn fun! The weather was WONDERFUL!!! We even had to buy sunscreen ! I think it was about 70 +/- a little! Every one must have had the same idea to go that day, it was so busy, we even ran into some people we knew.. how funny!

Ryker seemed to have a good time even though he wasn't too interested in the animals. I think he had a hard time finding them in their cages. He was able to find the elephants & the giraffes though. They are pretty hard to miss! He met one of the giraffes nose to nose. It was funny!! He wasn't sure what to think at first, but then he got pretty excited.

I didn't realize how big the zoo was. I also didn't realize how many steep hills they have there. We defiantly got a work out and a sunburn, but had a great time! I am positive we will be going again this summer! (if it ever comes!)

The latest...

Well Ryker is 7 months old now!!! He is getting SO big! He can sit up all by himself. He says "dada" - which tickles Ryland pink! He rolls all over the house but hasn't figured out how to crawl yet. If you can't tell he is our pride and joy!! We think he is the best thing in the whole world!!!


Ryland is no longer working in Alaska. He now works for Solar Turbines. They work on turbine engines. He seems to really like it. He still has to travel a bit, but isn't gone as long- Which is NICE!! He was pretty upset this year.. he only went snowmobiling 3 times... darn it!



I am still working at The Canyons Ski Resort. I didn't do much snowmobiling this year either, but I wasn't heart broken over it. There was enough snow this year that I didn't care if I went out and played in it. I will be so excited when spring gets here!!! I cant wait to see color. I have been telling everyone that I am going to buy fake flowers and stick them in the snow so we had some color to brighten things up a bit! I wont though, that is big time tacky!!!
