This is the same bear in both pictures!! Not only has he changed so much, but he has grown a bunch too. So sad to see them grow up!

Everyone needs a sister!!

I just have to tell you about my sister Lacey. Not only is she my sister but she is such a great friend of mine. I can tell her anything & I think she is the same way. I would do anything for her. She is there for me whenever I need to cry, complain, or vent- even if it's something she really doesn't care about.

However, lately luck has not been on her side when it comes to finding a great guy. It makes me so sad for her. I can see how it has made her depressed & down on herself. I swear every guy she dates breaks her heart (and that makes me want to break their necks). I wish she could find a guy who is as wonderful of a person as she is. She is so cute & deserves the best.

Ryland is setting her up on a blind date with one of his friends & I am pretty excited for her. When his friend saw a picture of her his first words were..."she is gorgeous!" My heart melted!! Who wouldn't want the very best for their little sister??

Happy 1st Birthday Ryker...

For Ryker's birthday we went to the zoo. Ryker really liked the animals! We had a GREAT time! Grandma Coleman, Grandpa Dave, Grandma Pam, Gabby, Lilly, Tiffany & Sienna came too!





We got to see the Elephants, Zebra's, Monkey's, Giraffe's an awesome white crocodile & a whole lot more! By the time we left the zoo Ryker was flat tuckered out!!

When we got home it was PARTY TIME!!!



Ryker had a "farm" party. He really liked his cake!! He had a great time playing in the frosting! By the time he was done it was straight to the bath! Then he got to open his presents. What a spoiled little boy!! He got so many great gifts!

Happy Anniversary!!

Ryland & I celebrated our 5th anniversary Friday. It was a great day! I can't believe how fast 5 years goes. It seems like it was just yesterday we were walking down the isle, now we have a great marriage & a wonderful little boy.

Feeling better about things today...

I went and visited my grandpa last night & feel much better about things with him. I was expecting him to look weak & frail, but he looks pretty healthy for an 89 year old man. What a relief! I am glad I went and visited though to get my own opinion of the situation.

Sad news..

I need to get something of my chest...

I was talking to my mom yesterday & she informed me that she doesn't think my grandpa (her dad) is going to make it much longer. I didn't know this but he has 2 types of anaemia (if that's how you spell it), so he isn't producing any red blood cells & his body doesn't retain any protein. It has made him very weak and limits what activities he can do. Anyway I guess it is so bad he is just one step away from needing a blood transfusion & his doctor is treating him as if he has Leukemia. I am not sure what all that involves.

Anyway my point... He has come down to visit this week from Washington and so my mom really encouraged my siblings & I to make a special point to go see him. I was thinking to myself -how do you tell someone goodbye when you know that you probably wont see them again?- I am a cry baby so I am sure I will cry when I tell him goodbye but, I guess that just means I have a heart. My mom is going to get some pictures of him and Ryker together so that will be really special if the worst is right around the corner. Reality sucks!

The Anniversary Inn

We decided to take this weekend and do something for our anniversary, since it's Ryker's birthday on our anniversary. So we went to the Anniversary Inn in Logan & stayed in the Grand Bridal Suite. What a room! It was huge!! It was so nice to get away and get to sleep in for a change! We must have been tired, room service woke us up at 10:30!
We are already celebrating our 5th year!!! How time fly's when your having fun...

Ryker's 1st hair cut!!

What a handsome little guy!! He looks totally different!

Ryker HATED every minute of his haircut!!! He cried the whole time. It was like it hurt to cut his hair or something... so to make things better we gave him a sucker & all was good. I know sugar is bad, but if it makes him happy little doses are fine, right?? I put all his clippings in a baggie to put in his scrapbook. Surprisingly there is quite a bit of hair in the bag. I didn't realize his hair was as long and thick as it is.

Fun at the park...

We went to the park yesterday & let Ryker play on the toys for the very first time. He really seemed to enjoy himself. He really liked the crawl through tunnel, probably because mom and dad couldn't get to him.
After the park we went down to Ryland's grandpa's house. Ryker is kind of shy around grandpa, but at the same time likes to show off and get the attention. Who doesn't like attention though. Ryland's grandpa's nickname is "Ducky" so we all call him Grandpa Ducky. He is the sweetest old man ever!! He is going to be 93 or 94 this month (I can't remember which) can you believe that!! He still drives his car around & everything! He is amazing!
